Richard P. Adams

Richard Paul Adams, 69, of Chicopee Ma, formerly of Brookline, Quincy, and Dorchester passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at home in Chicopee Ma. Richard P. Adams was born to the late Lorraine E. ( Moore) Adams and Roy P. Adams in Boston Ma, on November 23rd, 1953. He was raised in Dorchester, MA. and was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran who proudly served in the US Navy. Richard loved going to Wolloston Beach and Old Orchard Beach in Maine. Richard could make friends anywhere he went, anyone who knew him could say he had the biggest heart. Richard was very devoted to his family. He loved spending time in Coolidge Corner in Brookline, people watching and having his ice coffee. Richard was a devoted and loving Father and Husband. He is survived by his Wife, Roan (Honculada) Adams of the Philippines and his cherished daughter, Tayla Adams of Derry, NH. Richard also leaves his siblings; Catherine Lauzon and her husband Roger of Chicopee, Jean MacNeil and her husband Donald of Halifax, Brian Adams and his wife Brenda of Plymouth, Lorrie Bartlett and her husband Edward of Scituate, Diane Schotte of Chicopee, Kenneth Adams and his wife Lisa of Braintree and the late Roy Adams. Richard was also a grandfather of Miley Castro and Dante Torres of Derry, NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

CATHOLIC COMMITAL PRAYERS AND US NAVY HONORS FOR RICHARD PAUL ADAMS WILL HAVE BE HELD ON THURSDAY, MARCH 16TH,2023 AT 3:00PM AT THE MASSACHUSETTS VETERAN MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN AGAWAM, MA. 1390 MAIN ST, AGAWAM, MA 01001.
