Richard L. Balthazar1942-2014CHICOPEE- Richard L. Balthazar, 72, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014. He was born in Springfield on June 30, 1942, the son of the late Lawrence A. and Lillian R. (Ouellette) Balthazar. Richard graduated from Chicopee High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from American International College. He retired from Peter Pan Bus Company as a Customer Service Representative. Richard was an avid tennis player and enjoyed drawing in his personal time. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Chicopee. Richard is survived by a sister, Jean M. Lipscomb and her husband Ernie of Fort Pierce, FL; a nephew, Bob Pilon and his wife Shelly of Eldridge, IA; a grandniece, Allison; and three grandnephews, Blake, Ayden and Cameron. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, 319 Broadway St. with Rites of Committal to follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fuller Road, both in Chicopee.
