Harry Morgan   1943 ~ 2008   EAST SPRINGFIELD- Richard "Harry" Morgan, 65, entered into eternal rest on Thursday July 3, 2008 at home. He was born in Springfield on March 21, 1943 a son of the late Charles A. and Olive (Bagley) Morgan. Harry graduated from the former Classical High School in 1961 and received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 1972. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran (1961-1965) obtaining the rank of Airman 2ndClass (E-3) and received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. Harry retired as a Senior Systems Analyst from Mass Mutual. He enjoyed many activities, but his true love and compassion was being a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Mary G. (Cavanaugh) Morgan, two daughters, Jennifer L. Lang and her husband Jack of Pembroke, MA, and Brittani K. Morgan of Springfield; two grandchildren, Morgan F. and John C. Lang; a twin brother, Raymond C. Morgan and his wife Suzanne of Agawam; a godson, Sean Bechard of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. Rites of Committal with military honors will be held on Friday July 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1390 Main St., Agawam. There are no visiting hours.
