Rosemary Harrison of Springfield, age 79, passed away peacefully at Wing Hospital on February 25, 2026. She was born in Chicopee on May 22,1946, the daughter of Sophie (Chrzanowski) Barre. Rosemary was married to Leonard Harrison Jr. for 45 years until his passing in 2014. She was a loving mother and wife, and was protective, caring, and generous with all her loved ones. Rosemary enjoyed adult coloring books to keep her hands moving, watching birds and squirrels in the backyard, and vacationing on Cape Cod. You could always find her with a cigarette and coffee on her front step watching wildlife. Rosemary is predeceased by her mother and her husband. She is survived by her sons William Harrison and his wife Jennifer of South Carolina, James Harrison of Springfield, and Thomas Harrison and his wife Carolyn of Springfield, her brother William Barre, her grandchildren Dylan and Colin and his wife Karina, and her great granddaughter Renleigh. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 9 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
