Ruth G. Souliere

Ruth G. Souliere 1941-2006 AGAWAM- Ruth G. (Wilke) Souliere, 65, passed away on Saturday November 25, 2006 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home-West in Agawam. She was born in Holyoke on June 24, 1941 a daughter of the late Ernest and Marian (Inman) Wilke. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald R. Souliere. Ruth was employed at Springfield Eye Associates in Springfield, and had worked previously at Medical West in Chicopee. She loved to play bingo at the Knights of Columbus in Chicopee and at Foxwoods Casino. Ruth is survived by her three children, Cindi J. McGee and her husband Kirk of Windsor, CT, Lynn M. Bourque of Northampton, and Bruce A. Souliere of Chicopee; six cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Ashley, Katie, Allison, Erica, and Travis; two brothers, Richard Wilke and his friend Laverne Charette, Maurice Wilke and his wife Carol; a sister, Charlene Nutt and her husband Samuel, all of Chicopee; many nieces and nephews; and her loving dog Ginger. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday December 3rd at 5 p.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee. Ruth's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday prior to the service from 2-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to Mercy Hospice, 1236 Main St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
