Samara Lynn Ferreira

Samara Lynn (Gunn) Ferreira of Chicopee, age 39, passed away on December 6, 2024. She was born in Fall River on November 10, 1985, to her mother Melanie Fotiathis who raised her with Samara’s stepfather, John Fotiathis. Samara met the love of her life, Justin Ferreira in Chicopee and they were married for 17 years until her passing. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mount Holyoke College and went on to become a skilled and empathetic clinician working with adolescents. Additionally, she was a very talented crafter and a savvy shopper as well. Samara is survived by her husband Justin, her mother, Melanie, her son Damien Paquette, and her daughters Kiley and Aviana Ferreira. Visiting hours will be held at the Tylunas Funeral Home at 159 Broadway Street, Chicopee, MA 01020 on Saturday December 21, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
