Sandra "Sam" Strange

SPRINGFIELD-Sandra "Sam" (Renardson) Strange, 77, of Springfield passed away at her home surrounded by family on Monday, October 17, 2022. She was born in Holyoke on February 5, 1945, a daughter of the late Robert & Geraldine (Fountain) Renardson. Sam lived in Holyoke, West Springfield and Springfield most of her life. She worked at Friendly's in West Springfield for many years and later in many positions at Riverdale Gardens - Wingate for many years before retiring. Sam was an Artist who loved creating murals and many different crafts. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was very active in her community teaching the bible and leaves many friends and fellow Witnesses here and worldwide. Sam leaves her husband of 35 years, Keith M. Strange. Her two sons; Scott Allen and wife Kruewan, Rob Allen and her daughter, Stacy Allen Alvarez as well as many grandchildren, cousins and in-laws. She also leaves her brother, Robert Renardson Jr. and her beloved cats.  A very special thank you to the all the Medical Staff, Kidney Care Staff at Western MA. Kidney Center and especially Nancy Vasquez for the love, care and dignity they showed Sandra.
