Shawn P. Riley

Shawn Patrick Riley, 41 of Chicopee, MA passed away after a long battle with his illness on September 7, 2016 at Holyoke Medical Center. Shawn was born in Springfield, MA on July 13, 1975 to William and Jeannette Riley (Severns). He was a graduate of Chicopee High School Class of 1993. He previously resided in Florida, California and Arizona.  Shawn's employment history included positions in the Sales & Marketing, Computer Software and Medical fields. As a young man Shawn was very involved in youth sports. Shawn had many passions in life but his greatest passion was spending time with his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his two sisters; Kimberly Billips and her husband David of Chicopee, Kerri Richards and her Fiancé David Vetter of Jupiter, Florida; niece Kristi Roberts; nephew Cody Richards; great nieces and nephews Nathan, Olivia and Sadie, whom he adored. Shawn is predeceased by his father William Riley and sister Kelly Richards. He will be missed and never forgotten for his quick wit, incredible sense of humor and intelligence. Friends and family are invited to Celebrate Shawn's Life at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway Street, Chicopee, MA on Saturday September 10, 2016 from 12pm-2pm. Burial will be held privately at the request of his family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory can be made to the Holyoke VNA, 575 Beech Street, Holyoke, MA 01041.
