Shirley Rose Bauman

Shirley Rose (Langan) Bauman, of Chicopee Falls, passed away October 6, 2024, at age 90, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born April 9, 1934, in Springfield to the late David and Annette (Generoux) Langan, and was a lifelong resident of Chicopee, MA. Shirley was married to John F. Bauman on May 4,1955 for 15 years until his passing on February 4, 1970. She worked for Super Brush in Chicopee for many years. Shirley was predeceased by her husband, her parents, her sister Arleen Morphew, and most recently by her best childhood friend, Peggy Lemay Coburn. She leaves behind her daughters Linda Klein and her husband Dwayne, and Kathleen A. Tinnemeyer and her husband John, her son John A. Bauman and his wife Liz, her sister Kay Lukasik, her best friends Ina Klein and Elaine Pepin, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tylunas Funeral Home at 159 Broadway Street, Chicopee, MA with a Funeral Home Service beginning at 12:00 PM and Rites of Committal to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fuller Road, Chicopee, MA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a food bank or shelter of your choice.
