Shirley M. Muller 1934-2010 CHICOPEE - Shirley M. (Dumas) Muller, 76 of Chicopee, ascended to the Lord on Thursday, November 11, 2010. Born in Chicopee and a life long resident, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Maude (Sancombe) Dumas. Shirley was a retired claims adjuster for the Aetna Insurance Co. She had also worked for the former J. M. Fields. Shirley loved spending time with her family, playing cards, visiting the Mohegan Sun and playing Keno. A woman of great faith and prayer she was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church for 44 years before joining Mary, Mother of Hope Church last year. She was a volunteer at St. Patrick's for many years. She continued her love of volunteering in her daily life by driving many of her friends to their physician appointments. Shirley was the wife of the late Henry D. Muller who passed in 1999. She leaves to cherish her memory, her two daughters; Debra A. Mills and her husband Wendell of Springfield; Darlene Styckiewicz and her companion Edgar Labonte of Chicopee; her grandchildren; Daniel and Joshua Mills of Springfield; Sara Mills Morris and her husband Richard of West Springfield; Jeffrey Lussier and his wife Cindy of Delaware; Amy Lussier of Delaware and Samuel Styckiewicz of Chicopee; great grandchildren; Brianna and Jack Foster, Annabelle and Julia Lussier all of Delaware; William Henry Morris of West Springfield; a sister, June Wilk and her husband Henry of Margate, FL; sister-in-law, Cynthia Stone of Westfield; brother-in-law Rafino Ramos of Salem, MA; many nieces and nephews and her grand dog Cody. Funeral services for Shirley will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, from the Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway, Chicopee at 9 a.m., followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial in Mary, Mother of Hope Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chicopee.
