Stanley M. Lusnia Sr. 1932-2011 AGAWAM- Stanley "Stash" M. Lusnia Sr., 78, a long time resident of West Springfield and formerly of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 3, 2011 in Country Estates of Agawam after a valiant battle with a long time illness. He was born in Chicopee on September 1, 1932 a son of the late Frank and Caroline (Lesniak) Lusnia. Stanley Graduated from Chicopee Trade School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict obtaining the rank of Corporal. He was the owner of his own construction company and had worked simultaneously for National Metal Industries as a plant supervisor. Stanley enjoyed tending to his garden and animals. He was predeceased by his wife, Gail (Rock) Lusnia on July 7, 2006; and a brother, Francis M Lusnia on August 27,1991. Stanley is survived by two sons, Stanley "Stash" M. Lusnia Jr of West Springfield, and Michael J. Lusnia of Virginia; three daughters, Susan Rohlfing of Florida, Tina M. Lusnia of Georgia, and Carolyn L. Lusnia of West Springfield; ten grandchildren, Kayla, Michael Jr., Madeline, Jaiden, Abigail, Austin, Kyle, Patrick, Brett and Ryan; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Stanley are private on Friday at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Memorial contributions may be made in Stanley's memory to Thomas J.
