Stanley J. Kulik Jr. 1946 ~ 2007 CHICOPEE- Stanley Joseph "Max" Kulik Jr., 61, Ascended into the Journey of Everlasting Life, October 22, 2007 at his home, in the comfort of his devoted family, following an illness. Stanley was born in Holyoke, the beloved son, of Mary Anne (Pasternak) Kulik of South Hadley and the late, Stanely J. Kulik Sr. He grew up in South Hadley, where he was an altar boy of St. Theresa's Church; something he was very proud of. Mr. Kulik was a member of the United States Navy, serving State side during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Long Beach, California; and also Norfolk, Virginia aboard the USS-Northampton. Following his honorable discharge, in October 1971 he pursued his education by attending and graduating from Millersville State College, (now known as Millersville University) Lancaster, Pa., in 1978. A man of very strong work ethic, he was most recently employed by Balise Honda, West Springfield. Previously, he was employed as Supervisor in Electronic Production, for NuVisions, East Springfield, New Venture Technologies, Enfield, Ct., Hamilton Standard, Windsor Locks. Prior employment included the former Uniroyal, Chicopee, and Thom McAnn, based out of Worcester. Stanley was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church, Chicopee. He enjoyed golf and was a member of the Chicopee Elks. He is survived by his loving wife, of 40 years, Anne (Kimball) Kulik, his devoted children: a son, David Kulik of Dallas, Tx; two daughters, Maureen Kulik of South Weymouth, Ma., Alicia Germain and her husband, Mark of Chicopee; a dear sister, Barbara Sears and her husband, Paul of East Dennis; a cherished grandson, Caleb Germain of Chicopee; several nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life services will begin on Friday (Oct 26th) 10:00 am from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway, Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial, celebrated, in St. Patrick's Church , 319 Broadway, Chicopee. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will take place in the funeral home, Friday morning at 9:00 am until the time of church ceremonies.
