Viola A.. Tighe

Viola A. Tighe 1909 ~ 2006 Catonsville- Viola A. (Lajeunesse) Tighe, 96, was called safely home on January 21, 2006 at the Charlestown Retirement Center in Catonsville, MD where she had been residing. She was a longtime employee of A & P Supermarkets main office in Maryland and retired as an administrative assistant in the billing department. She was born February, 20 1909 in Chicopee, MA and was educated in the Chicopee School system. Viola was a former resident of Hillman Street in Chicopee, MA for over 25 years. Viola is survived by her loving sister, Corinne Stephens of Springfield, her cherished niece and nephew and many friends in Maryland and Massachusetts. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10AM in the Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway, Chicopee, MA 01020. The Rites of Committal will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery on Fuller Rd. in Chicopee. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
