Virginia Ann "Ginny" Taylor, 74, of Irene Street in the Fairview section of Chicopee passed away peacefully on Monday morning at Willimansett West Nursing Home. Virginia was born on October 31, 1942 in Turners Falls, Ma. She was the daughter of the late James and Pauline (Fortin) Flynn. Raised and educated in Turners Falls, she attended local schools and graduated from Turners Falls High School. Virginia worked as a retail clerk for many years, but raising her family was her first joy. Ginny and her husband George especially loved traveling. She and George traveled throughout the United States with their RV, camping, attending RV Rally's and exploring our country. She was predeceased by her husband, George Taylor. She leaves her children; Joseph Conroy III and his wife Donna of Chicopee, Bonnie Moynihan and her husband Philip of Phoenix, AZ., Cherilyn Harrison and her husband Thomas of Chicopee. Her grandchildren; Nicolette, Courtney, Joseph IV, Philip, Abigail, Dylan and Colin and a great grandchild that is on the way. She also leaves her two brothers; James Flynn of Florida, David Flynn of Maryland and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service for Virginia will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee. Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
