Yolande F. Girard1931-2013NASHUA, NH- Yolande F. (Lemieux) Girard, 82, of Nashua, NH and formerly of Chicopee, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. She was born in St. Gervais, Quebec, Canada on August 31, 1931 a daughter of the late Octave and Delina (Patry) Lemieux. Yolande was a member of the Dames de St. Anne for over 30 years and was a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Springfield and Assumption Church, Chicopee. She was predeceased by her husband, Guy G. Girard in 1966. Yolande is survived by three sons, Yvon Girard and his wife Linda of Nashua, NH, Denis Girard and his wife Christina of Apex, NC, and Jean-Guy Girard and his wife Lyn of Belchertown; 10 grandchildren, Monique, Alexandre, Jacquelyn, Stephanie, Kevin, Kathryn, Chantelle, Jacob, Jennifer, and Kyleigh; two sisters, Therese Pouliot of Springfield, and Giselle Lapierre of St. Gervais, Quebec, Canada; two brothers, Roger Lemieux and Jean Paul Lemieux and his wife Florence, all of St. Gervais, Quebec, Canada; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23rd beginning at 9 a.m. from the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Assumption Church, 97 Springfield St., with Rites of Committal and burial in Calvary Cemetery, Hampden St., all in Chicopee. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 22nd.
