Yvonne Gilroy

Yvonne B. Gilroy, 94, formerly of Shirley Street passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Vero of South Hadley. Yvonne was born in Chicopee on September 1, 1927, a daughter of the late Richard & Beatrice (Wilson) Nadeau. She was educated in local schools and resided here her entire life. She worked in her younger years as a waitress at Friendly's restaurants. She married Michael F. Gilroy and they settled on Shirley Street to raise their family. Yvonne enjoyed tending to their home, making it a loving and blessed place for her family. She was a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Church in Aldenville.  Her loving husband, Michael passed away in 2016. She leaves her devoted children; Patricia "Pat" Gilroy of Chicopee and Michael Gilroy of South Carolina, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
