SPRINGFIELD-Beverly J. (Pecoy) Rose, 62, of Springfield, was Called Safely Home after a long nine year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Bev as family and friends knew her as, was born in Springfield on Oct. 28, 1959, a daughter of the late George and Janice Pecoy. Bev was raised in Chicopee, attending local schools and graduated from Chicopee High School, class of 1977. Bev worked over 30 years for the Town of Longmeadow in the Building Department. Beverly was always known as a kind hearted loving person who would go out of her way for friends and loves ones, no matter the circumstances. Bev left a bold mark on her family to always fight for your loved ones. She spent most of her time making sure her children were happy and always put them first, and they always knew they could count on Bev. Beverly leaves her beloved husband of 40 years, Michael J. Rose. They shared so much happiness and love, they are true soul mates. She leaves her two children, her pride and joy. Her son Joshua M. Rose and his wife, Katrina and their beautiful son, Joshua Michael Rose Jr., who was her cherished grandson and best friend, all of Monson. Her loving daughter, Leeann Rose who gave her unconditional love and support throughout her journey and life. Bev leaves her three loving siblings; Kent Pecoy and his wife Jackie of Florida, Diane Hogan and her husband Shaun of Texas and Cheryl Laporte and her husband Ron of Chicopee, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bev was predeceased by her siblings who she now joins in Heaven; Karen LeMay and Buddy Carr and her dear nephew, Joshua Laporte. The family would like to extend a loving thank you to the Sister Caritas Cancer Center at Mercy hospital for all their love, support and dignity they have shown Bev and her family these past nine years. A Special thank You to Dr. Iyer and her PA Lauren and all the Nurses from Pod 1 for their unconditional love & support.
THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON MONDAY, NOV. 29, 2021 FROM 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. AT TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME, 159 BROADWAY ST., CHICOPEE. FUNERAL SERVICES FOR BEV WILL BE TUESDAY MORNING AT TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME AT 11:00 A.M. FOLLOWED BY BURIAL AT ST. ROSE DE LIMA CEMETERY, OLSEN ST., ALDENVILLE.
