CHICOPEE-Mildred May (Pierce) Dubay, 90, of Rochester Street passed away peacefully in the loving memories of her devoted family on Sunday, April 19, 2020 in Westfield from complications of Covid-19. Millie was born on March 29, 1930 in Orange, Massachusetts. Millie grew up in Orange, attending South and Central school and graduating from Orange High School. She worked for many years as a waitress at the Foster House in Westfield, Howard Johnson’s and The Little Chef prior to her retiring. Henry and Mildred lived in Westfield and Texas before moving to Chicopee in 1998 to be closer to family. Millie was a devoted communicant of Mary Mother of Hope Church in Springfield, where she and her husband faithfully attended Mass for many years. Millie and Henry were married for 72 years until his passing on March 3, 2020. She leaves her devoted children; Henry Dubay Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Westfield, Jamie Dubay of Huntington, Cheryl Denis of West Springfield and her late husband Keith Denis, Teresa Orlandi of Westfield and her late husband Charles “Chuck Orlandi and Lisa Despard and her husband Keith of West Springfield, her six cherished grandchildren and nine cherished great grandchildren. She was the last of eight children, sadly they all passed away before her. The family will hold private services at Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee. Millie will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Henry at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
