Nancy Etta (Godshall) Henry

Nancy E. (Godshall) Henry, 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Nancy was born on April 30, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was raised in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and graduated from Wissahickon High School in 1966.  Nancy served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1974, with the rank of Sergeant, where she worked as a Supply Technician. She married her husband, David, on February 15, 1974. Together, they enjoyed 48 years of marriage. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting, and also enjoyed reading. She was an avid lover of animals, especially her dogs and birds she had over the years. She is survived by her husband, David Henry, of Chicopee, as well as her precious dog Sweetboy, whom she enjoyed many wonderful years with. She is also survived by her brother Eugene Godshall and his wife Phyllis of Forest, Virginia. Her nieces, Karin Griffin and her husband Kevin also of Forest Virginia,  Amanda Stetka and her husband Curtis of Boyertown, PA, a great nephew Chadwick Griffin, and a great niece Margaret Stetka. She was predeceased by her parents Lillian Brownawell Godshall and Ralph U. Godshall. A special thank you to all of the staff at Chicopee Rehabilitation and Nursing for their exceptional love and care for Nancy during her final years and New England Hospice for their caring and compassion for Nancy.
