CHICOPEE- Ronald E. LeBlanc, 57, of Wolfe Street passed away surrounded by the love and care of his family on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020 at his home. Ron was born in Springfield on May 31, 1962, a son of Emile LeBlanc and Irene Mason. He was raised and educated in Chicopee and attended local schools. Ron had a great understanding of everything mechanical from a young age, leading him to open his own automotive repair shop. Ron owned and operated Longmeadow garage over 35 years, making friends with the multitude of customers who he came to know over the years, finally retiring in 2013. Most important to Ron was his family, being a Father to his girls, family trips to the beach and camping getaways and helping coach their softball teams. Ron married his beloved wife, Mary (Ainsworth) LeBlanc in 1994 and they enjoyed many years of happiness until her passing on January 5, 2013. Ron leaves his beloved daughters; Heather Marie and Sierra Lynn LeBlanc of Chicopee and Stephanie LaPlante of Springfield, all of whom he loved very much. His devoted siblings; Timothy Mason and wife Anna of Holyoke, Arthur LeBlanc and wife Deb of Florida, Cindy Cavicchi and her husband Bob of Marlborough and Constance Scott of Springfield. His two beloved grandchildren; Giavanna and Andre and three cherished nieces; Amanda and her Fiancé Mike, Elizabeth and her partner Devin and Sarah and her husband Ray. He also leaves longtime friends; Paul Giguere and his wife Jackie and their son PJ (Godson) and Mike Robinson and his daughter Michyla. Family and friends will gather to remember Ron on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Tylunas Funeral Home 159 Broadway, Chicopee, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. with a Service of Remembrance at the Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Interment of his ashes will follow the service at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St., Aldenville. Donations in his memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew St., Spfld, MA. 01104
