Sharon Ann Kidder, 72, of Chicopee departed this life on Tuesday at Holyoke Hospital after a long battle against cancer. Sharon was born in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of the late Albert G. and Thelma Lemay Minie. Sharon worked as an accountant for Rock-Tenn Company and Waldorf Corporation for many years. She also served as the loyal accountant and participant of Grace Church, and worked as a part-time employee of Stop & Shop. She married James R. Kidder, and had two beautiful children. Sharon enjoyed taking care of her family and providing them with a warm, wonderful home. Sharon was sadly predeceased by her son Jason Kidder in 2013. She leaves behind her daughter, Dawn Andino. Her former husband and close friend, James Kidder. Her daughter-in-law, Michele (Fortune) Kidder. Her sister, Doreen English and husband, Rusty English. Seven cherished grandchildren; Aryanna, Tyler, Kelsey, Elijah, Jaden, Jada, and Mikayla and several nieces and nephews. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS ON TUESDAY, JULY 26, 2022 FROM 4:00 TO 6:00 P.M. AT TYLUNAS FUNERAL HOME, 159 BROADWAY ST., CHICOPEE. A FUNERAL HOME SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY JULY 27, 2022 AT 10:00 A.M. FOLLOWED BY BURIAL IN STE. ROSE DE LIMA CEMETERY, OLSEN ST., ALDENVILLE.
