SPRINGFIELD ~ Susan Marie O’Driscoll, 61, of St. James Circle in Springfield passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, January 29. 2019, at her home surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Susan was born in Springfield on April 1, 1957 the daughter of the late John B. and Rose M. (Santaniello) Levister. She was raised and educated in Springfield. She received her bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from AIC and worked as a Psychiatric Nurse in many different capacities. She had most recently worked with McKesson Medical Supply. She had also worked as a Nursing Director at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, CT., The Carson Center and at Mercy Hospital. Susan also taught First Aid & CPR to local firemen. She was connected to the community in many ways, but most notably with the Cancer House of Hope in West Springfield. Susan enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She leaves her loving daughter who cared for her throughout her illness, Kristy O’Driscoll of Springfield and Kelly Harris of Holden MA. Her two beloved grandchildren; Sophia and Adam. Her former husband, William O’Driscoll. She also leaves her devoted partner Kyle Easton, her loyal friends Jackie Broadway and Donna Fleming, two sisters of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather and remember Susan on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Tylunas Funeral Home, 159 Broadway St., Chicopee with a Life celebration service following at 12 Noon.
