CHICOPEE-Theresa I. (Pare) Boudreau, 78, formerly of Citron Drive in Chicopee passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning at Reeds Landing within the care and comfort of her loving family. Theresa was born on March 29, 1940 in St. Marguerite, Quebec Canada. She was raised and educated in Canada and moved to the area where she met her future husband. Theresa married, Ronald C. Boudreau on May 28, 1960 and they shared 52 wonderful years together. Theresa, was a skilled seamstress and later owned and operated The Bridal Corner in Chicopee for many years. After selling her business, she worked for Baystate Rugs in Aldenville, Lucky 7 Rugs in West Springfield and finally as a Real Estate Agent with Caldwell Banker before retiring. Theresa first and foremost loved spending time having fun entertaining family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, mahjong and doing puzzles. Theresa and Ron received the Atkinson Award in 1991 from the St. Patrick's Parade Committee for their years of support and donations. Theresa leaves her devoted children; David R. Boudreau and his wife Susan of Westfield, her daughter Lisa A. Tierney and her husband Paul of Belchertown. Her five grandchildren, Ryan Boudreau and his wife Julie and their children; Valerie and Brayden, Ashley Cocchi and her husband Joe, Miranda Boudreau, and Matthew and Tamara Tierney. She leaves two siblings; Liliane Bilodeau and her husband Luke and Pauline Pare of St. Marie Beauce, Quebec. She also leaves her sister in law, Lucille Pare of Chicopee and brother in law Jacques Goulet of Quebec City, Que. many nieces and nephews and extended members of the Pare and Boudreau families. Her daughter, Sandra T. Boudreau, pre-deceased her on December 3, 2005 as well as several siblings; Doris, Clairisse, Louis, Marguerite, Jerome, Liliana, Cecile, Gabrielle and Pauline. The Family invites you to join them on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 for memorial visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Munich Haus, 13 Center St, Chicopee, Ma. There will be a Religious Service at the Munich Haus at 3:00 p.m. with Fr. Michel Twohig, Celebrant and the family invites you to join them immediately following the service for a Reception and time to share stories, laughs and remember Theresa as the fun loving person she was.
